Coachella Valley Classical Voices

Coachella Valley Classical Voices (CVCV) is a performing arts group that presents Broadway and Opera selections, sung by local singers, at various locations in the Coachella Valley.  

In February, 2022, Doug Nagel, Michelle Fiore and Kurt Jordan sang a concert at Hope Palm Desert.  This performance proved that there was a desire for more classical music in the Coachella Valley.  Doug Nagel, Artistic Director, began gathering exception singers who specialize in Opera and Broadway.  CVCV is now comprised of 40 artists.

In 2025, CVCV received a grant from the Cathedral City Arts Council to produce and perform a condensed version of Hansel & Gretel.  The opera was performed at The Cathedral City Library and the Cathedral City Senior Center.  Later in 2025, the opera was performed at the Palm Canyon Theatre.
