Elder Love USA, Inc.

We help older adults and their families by assisting with day-to-day activities such as bathing, personal care, housekeeping, cooking, medication management, transportation, pet care and more. We are a creative and innovative solution that has no minimum hourly requirements and no long term contracts. We provide in home care at a reduced rate. We are able to do this through a combination of client support, fundraisers, individual donations, sponsorships and grants.

Our unique nonprofit caregiving model was born in 2016 when our founder, Shannon Shea, was helping her dad who had Parkinson's Disease. Even though her father was a veteran and had worked in the corporate world for over 50 years, his retirement income still wasn't enough to help pay for the caregiving he needed. When Shannon began calling around to different agencies in the Coachella Valley, she was shocked at their high hourly rates, their long minimum hourly requirements, and their long term contracts. She knew that if her family was having these troubles, there must be thousands of others in the same boat. It saddened her to see these folks, who did everything right their whole life, be left with no support and no one to care for them when they needed it the most. So she decided to solve the problem by founding a nonprofit in home caregiving agency. Because Elder Love is a nonprofit, we are able to provide care at a reduced rate with no minimums and no long term contracts. Our clients pay a portion of the cost and with donations from generous people like you, they are able to get care at home. Your donation will help local Coachella Valley seniors take a shower, get clean sheets on their bed, help them shop, cook them a hot meal, and more.
