MODERN MEN Coachella Valley Men's Chorus

Modern Men Coachella Valley Men's Chorus promotes harmony through outstanding performances as we entertain and empower our audiences and embrace diversity through community outreach. As our Chorus continues to grow, with 140+ gay and gay-friendly members entering 2026, we are looking to secure the financial resources to sustain our growth. The combination of increased expenses, and the reduction of available funding for LGBT+ organizations put pressures on our ability to grow. We also endeavor to make Modern Men accessible to members regardless of personal financial situation.

Currently in our 12th Season, Modern Men Coachella Valley Men's Chorus has just completed two sold out performances of our holiday show, Cool Yule , and is preparing for a three show run of our spring show, Sing Out! at the Plaza Theater in Palm Springs.

Besides participating in the Palm Springs Gay Pride Parade and the Cathedral City Gay Days, we actively support DAP Health. We also donated 1 ton of food (and counting) to the Food Pantry at the LGBT Community Center and countless bags of clothes and shoes to the Homeless Ministry at the United Methodist Church of Palm Springs.

Modern Men is a proud member of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA), which leads the North American LGBT+ choral movement, cultivating the artistic development of 10,000 singers from more than 190 choruses in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Following a spectacular performance at GALA in 2024, we are already planning to have a large representation of the chorus at the GALA Festival in Minneapolis in July, 2028.
