We Are One United
About the Organization
We Are One United (WAOU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering BIPOC youth by providing them with educational opportunities, leadership development, and cultural pride. Our programs support youth from underserved communities, helping them navigate systemic challenges and build resilience. We offer academic coaching, mentorship, workforce development, and advocacy training, all tailored to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve. Through initiatives like Queens Circle, Uplifting Boys and Men of Color, and Campus Connect, we focus on personal growth, leadership, positive peer engagement, and community engagement, equipping youth to advocate for positive change. Our impact is visible in our participants' increased academic achievement, mental health resilience, and community involvement, who are empowered to transform their lives and the world around them.
