Cabot's Museum Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Cabot's Museum Foundation's mission is to promote and preserve Cabot Yerxa's legacy of cultural respect, education, art, community, and the desert habitat.

We honor Cabot's legacy through in-person and audio, self-guided tours of the pueblo, the structure Cabot Yerxa built from 1941-1950. Our Making a Difference school program allows 2nd graders to learn about local history, map their neighborhoods, and create their own postcards inspired by Cabot's paintings. Our Cultural Weekends highlight the artistic aspect of the pueblo: art created by hand and knowledge passed from generation to generation. Our two community programs, Day of the Dead and Earth Day, highlight community members and Cabot's contributions.
