Cabot's Museum Foundation's mission is to promote and preserve Cabot Yerxa's legacy of cultural respect, education, art, community, and the desert habitat. We honor Cabot's legacy through in-person and audio, self-guided tours of the pueblo, the structure Cabot Yerxa built from 1941 to 1950. Our Making a Difference school program enables 2nd graders to explore local history, map their neighborhoods, and create their own postcards inspired by Cabot's paintings. Our Cultural Weekends highlight the artistic spirit of award-winning artists practicing authentic handcraft techniques passed down through generations. Our two community programs, Day of the Dead and Earth Day, welcome our community to the museum to celebrate culture, creativity, and sustainability through a variety of engaging, hands-on activities.
