Joshua Tree National Park Association

A nonprofit organization

Joshua Tree National Park Association works in partnership with Joshua Tree National Park to help in its achievement of programming goals in education and interpretation, along with scientific and historical research and activities.

Joshua Tree National Park Association (JTNPA) has been Joshua Tree National Park's primary non-profit partner since 1962!

We're the bridge between park lovers and the park. Because national parks can't accept donations directly, those contributions go through JTNPA and straight to where the park needs them most. We fund projects and programs that wouldn't be possible with federal funding alone.

These initiatives include wildlife and native plant conservation, infrastructure, education, science, and research like:
Desert tortoise tracking
Bighorn sheep monitoring
Desert plant restoration
Science scholarships
Junior Ranger

We also operate the visitor centers and park stores that serve as the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park for many of its three million annual visitors.
Make a difference today! Become an official Park Lover member, take a class, start your adventure at a visitor center, or visit joshuatree.org/donate to make a one-time or monthly donation.
