The Exception

The Exception is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life through a holistic approach to total wellness. We provide free programs, mentorship, and support services across five key areas: physical, social, psychological, educational, and financial well-being. Our goal is to ensure these essential resources are accessible to individuals and families who are underserved and marginalized, helping to break cycles of intergenerational poverty, addiction, and violence.

Since 2018, The Exception has served communities throughout Riverside County, with a strong focus on people of color in historically underserved areas. Through mentorship, case management, and trusted community partnerships, we deliver a wrap-around support model that meets participants where they are. Each year, we support more than 100 individuals in building stability, resilience, and pathways toward long-term success.
