Eligibility Checklist
To participate in CV Giving Day 2026, your organization must:
âś… Be a 501(c)(3) public charity, recognized by the IRS as a qualified recipient of tax-deductible gifts
âś… Provide services or programs within the Coachella Valley
Special Notes
Religious organizations (churches, mosques, synagogues, etc.) may qualify if donations can be clearly associated with a local community-serving program (for example, a food pantry or youth outreach effort).
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, religion, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected status are not eligible to participate.

Follow CV Giving Day on social media
Be an active member in good standing of our online community at cvgivingday.org
Important
Nonprofit registration closes February 24, 2026. Please complete all eligibility steps before this date to participate in CV Giving Day 2026.
All participating nonprofits are reviewed and approved by the Desert Community Foundation and CV Giving Day team. We simply want to make sure each organization meets the eligibility criteria and aligns with the mission of creating a generous, inclusive, and community-focused Coachella Valley Giving Day.

📝 How to Register
When you click the “Register” button on the left, you’ll be prompted to log into Mightycause (or create an account) to access the registration form for CV Giving Day.
If your organization has participated before:
Use the same email address you previously used with CV Giving Day (NeonOne) and follow the prompts to set a new password. This will activate your Mightycause account.
If you’re new to CV Giving Day — or if you’re a new admin for an existing organization:
Enter your email address and follow the steps to create a new Mightycause account.
