We met Renata and Mateo at our event at Lake Cahuilla. Mateo's wish was to go fishing on a boat in Big Bear. Thanks to Jeople like you, he got much more than that. He not only got to go fishing, but he got to go on a jeep run with John Rizya where they were cheered on by 30 jeeps. His dad says it is a day that they will always remember.
Our events go beyond fishing. They teach teamwork, patience, and coordination, while strengthening family bonds and improving mental health. We are the only organization of our kind that includes the entire family. As one parent shared, “This is the only time I can enjoy a day out with my child without worry.”
A donation of $25 will send a fishing pole home with a child. $100 will sponsor a child for the day. $1,000 will pay for 10 children.
