CV Giving Day is a 24-hour celebration of local generosity — a valley-wide movement that brings together neighbors, nonprofits, and businesses to strengthen the place we call home.
Hosted by the Desert Community Foundation and California Bank & Trust, CV Giving Day makes it easy for everyone to give back to the causes they care about most. Each year, thousands of donors come together to support the hundreds of participating nonprofits working on the front lines — from youth programs and food security to housing, education, and the arts.
Through our Impact Partners/Sponsors — including the RAP Foundation/NPO Centric and the Auen Foundation — CV Giving Day provides prize opportunities, visibility, and resources that help local nonprofits do even more good.
What Is CV Giving Day?
It’s the one day the Coachella Valley shows up big for local good.
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, all nine cities in our valley will rally behind the nonprofits, volunteers, and neighbors who keep this place thriving. CV Giving Day is a 24-hour celebration of generosity — where every dollar makes a difference, and every nonprofit gets a chance to shine.
Bonus?
There’s over $125,000 in prize money up for grabs — donated by our generous Impact Partners/Sponsors. These $1,000 to $10,000 prize incentives go directly to nonprofits participating in CV Giving Day. No strings. Just more fuel for their mission.

We launched CV Giving Day in 2023 with a bold idea:

We know running a nonprofit is hard work. CV Giving Day helps make it just a little easier — with funding, visibility, community support, and real momentum.
For some organizations, a $5,000 prize can cover a month of rent, a summer youth program, or a year’s worth of supplies. That’s why this day isn’t just about giving — it’s about lifting up the people doing the work.
